What size box do I need for my candle?
Measure the jar at its widest point and its height with the lid on, then add a few millimetres of clearance. A snug box needs no padding; even 5 to 10 mm of spare space lets the jar rattle. Send us the jar size (for example 8 oz or 16 oz) and we size the box to it.
What is the best material for candle boxes?
Cardstock (SBS) from 14 to 24 pt for retail boxes, kraft for a natural look, E-flute corrugated for candles that ship, and rigid board for gift and luxury candles.
How do I ship candles without breaking the glass?
Use a corrugated mailer or shipping box with an insert that holds the jar in the centre, away from the walls. Inserts are die-cut to the jar diameter so it cannot move.
Do candle boxes need a warning label?
In the United States the fire-safety warning for candles follows ASTM F2058 and has to be visible at the point of sale. If the candle is sold in a box, the warning should appear on the box. Send us your warning text and we print it on the base or back panel.
Can candle boxes have a window?
Yes. A die-cut window, open or covered with clear film, shows the wax colour and the label without the box being opened.
